Extraction of LDS year 1812 and indexation 1813-1828

Extracting all infomation from acts in LDS year 1812 is now finished. This is the end of the first out of four LDS mcrofilms.

Thanks to Malcolm for his work, in difficult circumstances.

As a consequence of the work of group members Malcolm and Ann, indexing of LDS years 1808-1828 is now finished and can be queried from there.

Years 1813 to 1828 were indexed based on the index tables of the books, not on actual acts as for 1808-1812, so there is a possibility of a mistake or a missing document. These years will be corrected later, as Malcolm extracts information from real documents.

Extracting data from Yizkor book's necrology pages

Data from the Yizkor book's necrology pages has been extracted. The resulting file can be queried from the website's search page.

It contains 1221 records and includes the names of survivors (as of 1968) who issued the notices.

Year 1811 index

LDS master index has been updated and now includes surnames for year 1811.
There are 187 new records, with 147 different surnames.

Yad Vashem testimonies

The Yad Vashem testimonies' file has been updated.

All 2050 testimonies have been reviewed in order to extract all the data that was inside, correct the information that was already transcribed, and add data inferred from the same testimony or from other related ones.

This means for example that many maiden names that were not mentioned in the original testimony could be recovered, as well as given names of husbands, etc.

Memorial Pages in Kutno Yizkor Book

Extraction of data from Memorial Pages of Kutno Yizkor book will begin mid-December and will last until end of February 2009. It will include all data available on these pages in a single file. Index of surnames will also be added to the Master Index of Data.
